Dear User As part of our commitment to streamline our product offerings and enhance our portfolio, we have begun the process of discontinuing the HID FARGO HDP5000 card printer. The suggested replacement product for the HDP5000 is the new HID HDP5000e. Timeframe for discontinued configurations:
After the EOL date, the HDP5000 will no longer be available for purchase. However, we will continue to support the printer for three years post-EOL, ensuring service until at least December 31, 2027. Please note, however, that current HDP5000 consumables will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2024, and will be replaced with our newly released HDP5K Sync consumables. All HDP5000 users will need to transition to the HDP5K Sync consumables by December 31, 2024. To assist in facilitating sales conversations with your end-user customers regarding this announcement, a discontinuation letter (HDP5000 EOL letter) is available. You may download it directly from the HID FARGO HDP5000 Resource Kit on the Partner Community platform and share it with your customers as needed. This letter outlines all pertinent details surrounding the discontinuation of the HDP5000 including a complete list of HDP5K Sync replacement consumables and comprehensive replacement product information.
